Welcome to Random Sonic Net(hereby known as RSN), yet another site dedicated to bringing you weird/cool/old/new/pointless stuff about the Sonic the Hedgehog game series. So what the hell do we all got here? Well on the RSN site itself we have links to websites, we have beta downloads, we have a savestate libary(including Sonic CD!), and links to some pretty interesting articles/comics. Also we have our forums, a place of for the most part unmoderated discussions(meaning we won't trash topics unless its requested or they violate rules).

We also have a radio station known simply as RSN Radio, which hosts our primary show "RSN Skype Live" which features discussion of sonic from fans around the world (download the podcasts!). We also are host to hacks and home built games including the very popular Retro-Sonic done by Taxman. And in the research dept. We also host the Sonic Research Zone which is one of longest running Sonic Research/Oddities sites on the net. So go ahead and snoop around the site, see what ya like.

Retro Sonic
The homepage of the reknowned 2D fangame Retro Sonic. The game is one of the few fangames ever to be written in C++ with the DirectX API, instead of the usual "Klik and Play" type systems. At the moment, only an old demo is avaliable to download, but The Taxman is working hard on a total rewrite, which is set to raise the bar on fangame quality.
